The Wells Academy and Nottingham Hoods Basketball Club are thrilled to announce an exciting partnership that will see the establishment of a dedicated basketball academy for students aged 11-16 at The Wells Academy. This collaboration aims to provide young athletes with top-level coaching and development opportunities, helping them reach their full potential both on and off the court.

As part of this exciting initiative, the Nottingham Hoods’ Head Office will be based at Mapperley Sports Village, further strengthening their presence in the Nottingham community. The academy will deliver elite-level basketball training led by experienced coaches from Nottingham Hoods, ensuring students receive professional guidance, skill development, and mentorship.

Russell Levenston, Managing Director of Nottingham Hoods, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership:

“This is an incredible opportunity for young basketball players at The Wells Academy. Our goal is to nurture and develop local talent by providing them with high-level coaching and a clear pathway to excel in the sport.
