A huge congratulations to Sofia, a talented Year 7 pupil at The Brunts Academy, for her incredible achievement! Sofia recently made history by winning Harrods’ prestigious 175th-anniversary competition with her captivating 'royal bear' design.

Earlier this year, Harrods launched its first-ever ‘Harrods Design-A-Bear Studio’, inviting customers to design a bear to be sold in its iconic store. Sofia drew inspiration from King Charles III’s coronation, crafting a regal bear adorned with a royal cape and crown, celebrating the momentous occasion with her unique and imaginative creation.

Sofia was overjoyed to receive her prize from one of Harrods’ famous ‘Green Men’. As part of her victory, she was gifted a Harrods bag filled with exclusive merchandise and treated to a luxurious afternoon tea at the renowned Tiffany Blue Box Cafe within the store, accompanied by her proud mum, Marisa.

This marks a historic moment for Harrods, as Sofia's winning bear design is the first ever created by a customer in the store’s 175-year legacy.
